THE NUTELLA BUNDT CAKE

Yes, you heard right Nutella filled Bundt Cake !!
For anyone who likes / loves nutella this is a must try, period!! No further convincing of any kind on my part will be added. :)
I promise it is one of the most delicious moist cakes you will ever have had. So good, that one might ask if you used a boxed cake mix and you'll be able to proudly reply with "What ? No! No cake mix here baby, made from scratch! "
So run don't walk !! And get your ingredients together.
Tip: Get all your ingredients out on the counter ahead to have them at room temperature.

You'll need:
  • 1 1/2 cups of softened butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 [8oz.] package softened cream cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 small jar nutella or if you have the mega jar at home about 6-8 tbsp rounded
 What to do:
    For The Batter
  • Preheat the oven 350 F and generously grease a 10' [12-14 cup] bundt pan
  • *TIP: flour coat or sugar coat the pan for the cake to easily come out of the pan after cooling off
  • In a large mixing bowl beat butter with an electric mixer until fluffy.
  • Gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add the cream cheese and beat until creamy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating just until blended after each one addition.
  • Gradually add flour to butter mixture. Beat at low speed just until blended stopping to scrape down bowl.
  • With a spatula stir in vanilla extract.
Throwing it together:

  • Pour one - third of batter into the greased and either floured or sugar-coated prepped bundt pan.  Dollop rounded tsp. of Nutella over batter and gently swirl with toothpick, wooden skewer or wetted knife [ Why water? It keeps the battter and nutella from sticking to it ]. Repeat the whole procedure once and top with the last third of batter.

  • Bake at 350 F for 1 hour and 10 minutes test with a wooden skewer by pocking the center of the cake. If it comes out clean, your good!
  • Cool in the pan for 10 - 15 minutes, remove from pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
  • If you'd like to add a chocolate "Glaze" melt your chocolate chips in a double boiler making sure not to over heat chocolate or to accidentally get water into it. It will ruin the glaze.
  • Pour chocolate over cake let set and ..... ENJOY!!
