concoction

as a child i used to brew my concoctions of pine needles, flowers and berries and other foliage i'd find in the woods behind the house i grew up in. i would let them sit in the sun kind of like sun tea and pretend i was brewing soups or healing teas for the sick.
nowadays i still like to experiment around. i'd like to add with the exception that now these concoctions are actually drinkable. :)
this one proofed to be a great one nicely chilled on the rocks on a hot summers day.
i used exactly what you see in the picture
below.

here is what you do

brew up some ginger yogi tea as directed but leave the tea bags in the pitcher until tea is completely chilled [before removing the tea bags squeeze them out]

next add about a tablespoon of chopped peeled ginger, half of one organic lemon cut into slices [ squeeze them gently and just drop in ] to taste
lastly wash and chopp up a few lavender buds to give that special unexpected   twist.
add ice to give it a head "chill" before putting it in the fridge.
no sugar added !
make it an adult drink and add some bourbon ;)
what type of drinks do you like to cool off  with ?
