orange ...

orange you glad it's friday ?!
for us it' is finally a weekend without soccer maybe even no track meet [have to check on that one] = sleeping in, AHHH!!  relaxing.
as of now beautiful weather is in the forecast. so maybe a beach visit is in store for us ?!
and exactly one week until my brother and my sister in law come to visit LA
can't wait!!

to go with the orange "theme" i thought ... since it's been a while that i posted the last weekend cake recipe, this weekend seems perfect for some cake. i am trying something new, an eggless cake.
no, no allergies in this family. but i ran out of eggs and if you have ever gone anywhere in LA you know that just going to the store takes longer then actually making the cake batter.
so i figured why not try something new!

to top it off i'm planning on a lemon orange glaze with these yummy, amazingly aromatic, organic, sweet oranges and some fresh lemons [ courtesy of my neighbors lemon tree ].
i will let you know how it turned out. also look out for the orange lemon glaze recipe !!
