WTF ?

WTF ? i woke up saturday to my blog missing the very first post that i had ever created. yes, it was pretty disappointing and i am still trying to figure out what exactly happened. then again i had been "fighting" technical difficulties wanting to put the second post up. the system just kept on crashing. anyways, i don't know what is blogger etiquette but honestly i don't care. i am just going to try and post it again to have it somewhere in my archives. sorry to those of you who might have seen it before. hope you understand -

I fell in love

I fell in love with the most beautiful tree. [and it's NOT a palm tree :) ] But I guess that's not hard when your living in LA. Right ?! It was shortly after sunrise that morning when I stumbled across this thick trunk not quite awake yet. Looking up I saw it's expansive canopy. So stately. In fact it was so big I wasn't able to capture the whole enormity of it. I've always had a thing for trees. Not entirely sure why, well not quite true I think I have an idea. Trees with big trunks, roots that stretch out and seem to have a life of its own into the earth beneath, sturdy branches that reach high like arms reaching for the sky and a healthy crown that rustles in the wind make me happy. I find them soothing. This one as the day progressed gave shelter to many from the smoldering sun. Growing up a few steps away from a forest, climbing trees was almost on the daily agenda. Mornings with

coffee and a book are the best This morning i woke up unusualy early for a saturday. Especially since there is no reason to get up early. Soccer season is just getting started however no games and practices as of now and it is a rather gloomy LA morning. However instead of fighting my bodies desire to get up I gave into it and swung my legs out of bed. Soon I found myself enjoying the quiet of the morning hours on the couch with this new read and my cup of coffee. It's a good morning ! A happy morning! You want to know more about the book well.... A good friend of mine went to college with Steve Weddle the author of the book I am currently reading called "Country Hardball". The book very vividly takes the reader through the everyday live and past of Roy Alison.
